Meet Dr. Tagerman

Dr. Tagerman Oxner grew up in Newton, Massachusetts and earned her Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology from Tulane University in New Orleans. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from the University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated first in her class with honors in Community Oral Health and Care for the Medically Complex. While there, she was also inducted into the Matthew Cryer Society, the highest academic honor at Penn Dental Medicine. After dental school, Dr. Tagerman completed a two-year residency in orthodontics at Tufts University in Boston and completed the rigorous process of becoming a Board-Certified Orthodontist. Dr. Tag loves being an orthodontist. She truly enjoys getting to know each of her patients and their families. There is nothing better than seeing all of the beautiful smiles at the end of treatment. Though a New Englander at heart, Dr. Tagerman is excited to join the Triangle community and get to know the area. In her free time, she tries to spend as much time as she can outdoors with her husband and daughter. She enjoys hiking, running and water skiing.
