Take a small piece of orthodontic wax (you should have some in your care kit) and apply it over the part of the brace or wire that’s bothering you. This should protect the inside of your mouth from irritation. Then, call our office to schedule an appointment. We’ll trim the wire and make sure everything is back to normal.
