Yes, your dentist will follow you every six months for regular cleanings and check ups. Some patients are seen more often during orthodontic treatment, depending on the guidance of the dentist and/or orthodontist.

Carolina Braces is simply the best orthodontist in the triangle area. Dr. Kent and is staff is “a cut above the rest “. My family and I have had service done with Dr. Kent, and he is just... the most experienced, professional, honest and friendly orthodontist you will meet. He personalized each patient needs, and he will even give his phone number for you to contact him if you have an emergency outside office hours. He truly cares about his patients, and ensure that your experience is pleasant, comfortable and relaxing, which of course, ease any tension you may have when choosing to wear braces. The staff goes above and beyond to serve and provide the best client experience. Other orthodontist, that I have experienced in the past, as soon as you enter their establishment, it is a monetary venture, and it is made obvious. Dr. Kent and his staff sincerely cares and appreciates his patients. Thank you Dr. Kent and staff for always providing excellent customer service. This was the best experience I’ve had at an orthodontist. The process of being seen, was so personable, the staff was so friendly and kind. But also extremely knowledgeable and informative.... Update to former review:It took two years, but our son is finally out of braces! We recommend Dr. Kent as he was very kind with our son and did his best to make sure he had a good... experience. The treatment ended up well, despite the difficult initial start, and we do recommend this business!This review is for the Brier Creek location. It seems that most of the reviews for this company reflect experiences at the other location. We have had a very frustrating experience thus far and I would not advice anyone to come here for treatment. I will update this review later and hope that our experience will improve. Bottom line - this location is not fully staffed and wait times are long and the technician and doctor turnover is high. None of the technicians at this location have been here more than a year. Dr. Marsh was here when we started but then left after our initial appointment with no communication whatsoever. Dr. Kent does not come to the Brier Creek location but once a month so if your consult was with him, just be aware you will likely not be able to see him again at this location. It a difficult to get an appointment or build any kind of relationship with the technicians. I don’t think the staff here get full breaks and must be overworked. The new doctor here, Dr. Hamilton, seems good and we are hopeful that our experience will improve. I do think this place needs to stop taking new clients until they can get caught up with the patients they already have. They also need to make sure their staff is not overworked and there is plenty of time in the daily schedule for emergency visits as well as adequate lunch breaks. We have been here for over six months now, five separate visits and every time there has been a shortage of workers.read more
