Dr. Rachel Hamilton
Dr. Rachel M. Hamilton was born and raised in Augusta, GA, and is the daughter of a pastor and a school teacher. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Meharry Medical College-School of Dentistry in Nashville, TN. Upon graduation, she continued her dental education at Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry in Cleveland, OH where she received her Master’s in Science Degree and Certificate in Orthodontics.
Dr. Hamilton was told by her mother that from the age of five she wanted to become a dentist. How awesome is that, that she was able to accomplish her goal and become not only a dentist but an orthodontist. She decided after her experience with wearing braces that she wanted to become an orthodontist to help make people’s lives better with beautiful smiles.
She has been working as an orthodontist for over twenty years, twelve of those years have been right here in North Carolina. She loves transforming the smiles of the patients and giving them that little boost of confidence that they may not have had before orthodontic treatment.
Dr. Hamilton enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and her cat, Saber.
